Do you accept children in Nappies?

A

Yes. Children do not have to be potty trained to attend our Playgroup.

What age?

What age do you accept children from?

A

We accept children from two years of age.

Do you have a waiting list?

A

One Class?

Q

Are all the children together in one class?

A

We follow government and safety measures and split the children into pods of 6 children.

We have two classes. The younger children are in the butterflies class, and the older children are in the owls class.

Outings

Do the children go on outings outside of the Hall?

A

No. At the moment we stay in the Playcentre for safety and health reasons. When this changes we will let you know.

Childcare funding

Do you accept free childcare funding?

A

Yes, we accept funding and childcare vouchers

Funding: how many hours?

Q

How many hours of funding are available if my child qualifies?

A

570 hours. This is normally used 15 hours a week 38 weeks of the year.

Is my child eligible for free childcare?

A

All children aged three and four are eligible. The following are requirements for free childcare funding for two year olds. You can find more information here.

Start claiming

Q

When can I start claiming free childcare?

A

You can start claiming the term after their birthday.

If your child’s birthday is between the 1st January and the 31st March, you can start claiming the beginning of the term on or after the 1st of April

If your child’s birthday is between the 1st of April and the 31st of August you can start claiming the beginning of the term on or after the 1st of September.

If your child’s birthday is between the 1st of September and the 31st December you can start claiming the beginning of the term on or after the 1st of January.

I also use a child minder, can I split my free childcare between them and you?

A

Yes. You can split your funding between a maximum of two providers.

Extra sessions

Q

I would like my child(ren) to attend more than just the free sessions s/he is entitled to. Is this possible?

A

Yes. Our fees are £4 per hour (£12 a session)

30 hours childcare

Q

Are you accepting the 30hrs childcare?

A

Yes, but we are only open 24 hours week.
